Here are the top tips on how to update your CV to optimize your chances of getting a job in the industry. Skip the steps you're already done with, but double-check that you're within the guidelines (e.g. with our how-to videos about pictures, application videos, and more).
In your account, go to 'My CV' via the menu at the top and follow the 'Edit' buttons.
The following points are especially important!
Introduction text:
By clicking on the main profession listed under your name, for example 'Actor/Actress' or 'Extra', you will find the 'Personal introduction' field. It's nice to know a little bit about who you are. What makes you tick, strengths, likeable weaknesses, goals. Maybe mention why you want to work as an extra or actor, and that you are looking forward to a good collaboration.
Photos:
We recommend that you upload good quality pictures with a neutral background. These can be taken in the studio or at home with a digital camera or a good smartphone in front of a plain bright wall. Feel free to upload at least 3 pictures - a portrait picture (in the first place), a half body and a full body picture.

Presentation Video (About me):
Nowadays, many artistseekers require you to include a presentation video. We therefore recommend that you provide such a video directly in the 'Media' section of your CV, so that you can send it automatically with each application instead of having to upload it separately each time. Remember to select the 'presentation video' recording type.

Others:
Make sure the rest of your CV is filled out so no fields are blank unless there is a reason. Work experience and education can be left blank if you don't have anything relevant to add yet.
However, fields like 'Contact', 'Profile' and 'Other skills' are also important information providers. Don't forget to indicate which languages/instruments you are proficient in and at what level.
IMPORTANT:
When you then apply for the jobs you want, be sure to remember to confirm your availability for the date indicated in the ad. Introduce yourself briefly, write why you are applying for this offer and that you are happy to hear back. Artistseekers will then find the rest of the information in your CV, and a well-filled CV is greatly appreciated!
